Survey divers complete Bled basin inspection

A team of survey divers has completed the first inspection of the proposed competition basin at Lake Bled, host of the 2027 Outdoor World Championship (2–10 August 2027).

Under Article 4.1.3, natural venues are enclosed by a floating boundary of the same dimensions as an Outdoor basin (50.000 m × 21.000 m) and inspected by a diver before every session. The survey also recorded aquatic plants within the area, as Article 4.2.2 requires.

Bled will be the first lake venue for the Outdoor World Championship.
