New Code of Competition comes into force

The 2026–2029 edition of the FIMP Code of Competition & Technical Handbook came into force on 1 January 2026. It applies to all World Championships, World Series events and continental championships until the end of 2029.

The edition includes an updated Swimwear Register, a revised Prohibited List and, in Appendix N, the complete championship record since 1931. The rules are available to read online and as a PDF.
